Job Summary Our client is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to perform essential clinical and administrative functions, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes. This role involves performing phlebotomy, administering medications, assisting with minor procedures, capturing vitals, and documenting patient complaints. The Medical Assistant will also support remote patient monitoring and provide diagnostic assistance. Patient education, communication, and collaboration with the care team are central to this position. Key Responsibilities Perform phlebotomy and administer medications. Assist with minor procedures such as wound care and suture removal. Full intake process including capturing vitals and documenting complaints. Update medical records with an emphasis on social and mental health changes. Support remote patient monitoring and provide diagnostic assistance. Review orders, referrals, and stable lab results with patients. Respond to patient inquiries same-day and ensure continuity of care. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. CMA or RMA certification required. Experience with an EMR system. Bilingual in English & Spanish. Preferred: Translation and primary care experience. Skills Proficiency in EMR systems.
