Your role will involve providing compassionate care and performing essential tasks that enhance our patients’ dialysis experience. Your Responsibilities Direct Patient Care: Engage with patients by delivering safe, respectful, and effective dialysis treatment. Your duties will include assessing patient vitals before and after sessions, initiating and monitoring treatment, concluding sessions, and drawing blood samples as instructed. Technical Operations: Ensure the highest quality of care by preparing hemodialysis machines, performing thorough cleaning and disinfection post-treatment, and conducting safety checks to uphold our quality standards. Commitment to Safety and Quality: Utilize appropriate safety protocols, including personal protective equipment. Work under the guidance of a Charge Nurse while complying with all organizational policies and regulations. Participate actively in staff meetings and ongoing educational opportunities. Qualifications We Seek High school diploma or equivalent required. Genuine interest in providing patient-focused healthcare. Previous experience in healthcare, especially in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA, is advantageous. Comfort with mixing acids and bicarbonate according to established protocols. Ability to distinguish primary colors for operational tasks. Additional Requirements: Successful completion of the USRC training program authorized by the Medical Director, demonstrating competency within 8 weeks of hiring. CPR certification is necessary within 90 days of hire, as mandated by the state. Certification as a Patient Care Technician must be obtained through an accredited state or national program within 18 months post-hire, with ongoing maintenance of credentials.
