Lead ongoing partner relationships, serving as a primary point of contact to ensure alignment, clear communication, and successful program delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including Play Programs, Brand Marketing, Events and Play Design) to integrate partner initiatives into broader business and play strategies. Design and implement partnership programs that drive player acquisition, retention, and ongoing engagement, particularly within Magic: The Gatherings competitive play structure. Track program performance against defined goals, providing regular updates and insights to internal partners. Serve as the main liaison for partners, ensuring clear communication, set shared expectations, and strong, mutually beneficial relationships. Monitor industry trends, competitive play activity, and emerging opportunities to advise partnership strategy and identify new prospects. Working knowledge of the gaming industry, with familiarity with Magic: The Gathering, trading cards games, or adjacent competitive gaming ecosystems. Deep understanding of Magic: The Gathering's competitive play systems and ecosystems. Experience leading external partnerships, vendors, or strategic relationships. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with broth internal and external collaborators and external partners. Shown ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently while growing in a collaborative team atmosphere. Experience supporting live events, competitive programs, or community-driven initiatives. Background working with influencers, content creators, or community organizations. Experience operating in a global or matrixed organization.
