You will organize and mentor resident assistants to effectively implement personalized care plans tailored to the physical and emotional needs of our adult and geriatric residents. Your responsibilities will include: Providing direct hands-on care to residents, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal support. Administering medications as delegated by nursing staff and according to state regulations, while meticulously documenting care outcomes. Acting as a vital communication link between resident assistants and nursing staff, addressing any changes in residents’ conditions and relaying important information. Engaging residents in wellness and recreational activities to enhance their quality of life. Maintaining a clean and safe household environment during your shifts. Participating in the training of new staff members and monitoring performance indicators. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: High school diploma or GED (preferred but not required). Minimum age of 18, with at least six months of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Certification requirements based on state regulations, including completion of a state-approved Certified Medication Aide/Assistant course. A commitment to completing annual continuing education credits and maintaining all necessary certifications.
