Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesCandidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview, which may include a live whiteboarding or technical assessment session.
The Order Orchestration team is responsible for managing the end-to-end order workflow across all sales channels, supporting key Wireless initiatives. The team consists of two sub-teams (30+ members total), including tech leads, product owners, software engineers, and testers, and integrates with many core functions such as fraud prevention, payment capture, device shipment, provisioning, and customer communications.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strong technical and delivery leadership, guiding the end-to-end development of order orchestration features supporting the Boost brand
Oversee the full order lifecycle, ensuring seamless coordination across fraud, payments, shipping, provisioning, and other integrated systems
Drive execution of critical order management capabilities, ensuring scalable architecture and alignment with broader Retail Wireless platforms
Partner closely with Product Owners and cross-functional stakeholders to align technical delivery with business priorities and customer experience goals
Lead team staffing efforts, including hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and career development, while fostering engineering best practices and high performance
Ensure high-quality code, robust test coverage, reliable production deployments, and consistent delivery velocity through Agile methodologies and transparent stakeholder communication
Skills, Experience and RequirementsEducation and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 4+ years of experience in engineering management role
- Experience leading teams of 10+ engineers in high-scale, complex environments
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong software engineering background with experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale, distributed systems
Deep understanding of order management systems and backend orchestration patterns, with the ability to balance feature delivery, technical debt, and long-term architectural strategy
Proven experience leading and scaling medium-to-large engineering teams, including hiring, onboarding, and building high-performing organizations
Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop engineers and technical leads, fostering a culture of accountability, ownership, and engineering excellence
Strong project, stakeholder, and cross-functional management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and business teams
Strategic, execution-focused problem solver who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments and aligns team objectives with broader business goals

Salary RangesCompensation: $110,100.00/Year - $157,300.00/Year
