As a Massage Therapist, you will tailor massage treatments to your patient's individual needs and health goals. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in a variety of massage styles, possess a deep knowledge of human anatomy and the musculoskeletal system, and work well as part of a holistic wellness team. We are looking for deep tissue massage therapists (Certified) with a love of their craft, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic. Preferably with deep tissue/injury based experience. Full or part time is welcome, here are currently our available hours: Tuesdays 10am-5:30 pm Wednesdays 10am - close (usually 7 or 8pm) Thursdays 10am - close (usually 7 or 8pm) Fridays 10am - close (usually 7 or 8pm) Saturdays 9am (or 10am) - close (4pm) Hours can be somewhat flexible within reason. All of our staff love what we do and take pride in offering our clients excellent massage therapy - we'd like to bring in another like-minded person to join our team. Some skill sharpening hands-on training available. Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage and body treatments Educate clients on the services and products offered as well as the therapeutic benefits of regular massage therapy Maintain accurate records of each session Schedule, confirm, and cancel appointments Build relationships with clients to assist them with meeting their wellness goals Ensure a clean and safe facility Complying with all applicable standards, rules, and regulations. Qualifications Hold current license and liability insurance to practice massage therapy Capable of performing deep tissue massage modalities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strongly service oriented with an ability to communicate effectively with clients in a one-on-one setting High level of ethics and integrity.
