Responsibilities of Registered Nurses (RNs) Administer medications as per physician orders Provide treatments as ordered by physicians including: Nutrition via feeding tube Tracheostomy care Nasal, oral, and/or endotracheal suctioning Ventilation care Assess and treat seizures Requirements for Registered Nurses (RNs) Current, active Florida RN license Current BLS CPR certification (obtained in-person) Experience with G-tube, trach, and vent, or willingness to train TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF) Complete a 2 Hour DOEA Approved Alzheimer's training course (available at no cost if needed) Watch a 1-Hour DOEA Alzheimer's video (free on DOEA website) About Care Options for Kids Care Options for Kids is proud to be the leading provider of pediatric nursing services.
