The Human Resources Shared Services Center (HR SSC) Director leads the HR SSC operations, enhancing service delivery, improving efficiency, and reducing costs across HR functions. This role demands a strategic leader skilled in change management and adept at delivering measurable improvements in service quality and operational performance within the HR domain, with a strong understanding of the labor laws of the Philippines.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Develops and implements strategies for the HR SSC that align with the overall business objectives and HR strategies of the company.
- Oversees the management of all HR SSC functions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality HR services to internal stakeholders.
- Drives the standardization and optimization of HR processes within the SSC to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Manages relationships with HR business units and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of SSC services with their needs and expectations.
- Leads, coaches, and develops a large team of HR professionals within the SSC to foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Ensures robust compliance with HR policies, legal and regulatory requirements, particularly the labor laws of the Philippines, and best practices within the SSC.
- Oversees the implementation and utilization of HR technology and systems within the SSC to enhance service delivery and operational reporting.
- Develops and manages the HR SSC budget, monitors financial performance, and implements cost control measures.
- Evaluates HR SSC performance metrics and prepares reports for executive leadership to demonstrate value and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field, or professional certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in HR operations, with significant experience in a shared services environment.
- EXPERIENCE IN TELECOMMUNICATION OR ICT INDUSTRY IS A MUST
- At least 5 years in a leadership role managing a multi-functional HR shared services center.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with a proven ability to manage and develop large HR teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of improving HR processes and delivering business value.
- Deep familiarity with the labor laws of the Philippines and experience in ensuring compliance across HR functions.
- Experience in implementing and managing HR systems and platforms within a shared services environment.
- Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments and with executive leadership.
- Must be able to speak in English. Preference will be given to candidates who can speak both English and Mandarin.
