Responsible for the development and management of overall flyer planning, production, budget and return on investment across all lines of business and relevant agency partner initiatives. Build out flyer processes striving for efficiency and accuracy, working closely with Category Managers on Ad Planning and with Marketing Team to ensure alignment across all channels.
Responsibilities:
Oversee flyer program integration across channels, negotiating activities between departments, and executing digital flyer with printed support material, ensuring alignment with Sales and Ad planning, and facilitating inter-departmental communications. Manage budget forecasting, invoice processing, accruals, and monthly reconciliation. Ensure layouts reflect the brand's uniqueness, clearly convey themes, and accurately advertise items. Leverage data-driven insights to create test and learn programs to increase digital delivery. Collaborate with the internal customer insights and analytics team to optimize media effectiveness using a customer/data-centric approach. Oversee the strategic planning, execution, and ongoing optimization of the flyer paid media program. Support multiple business lines/banners to deliver customer acquisition and sales. Manage strategic third-party partner relationships, ensuring alignment, communication, and reporting of optimization results. Collaborate with the business and internal marketing teams to ensure messaging alignment. Work directly with the Flyer production team to find efficiencies and investment opportunities along with content creation for the channel. Lead regular meetings with Category Managers to discuss changes to flyer policies, formats, and opportunities for growth in working relations and processes. Proofread product information, ensuring images, copy, pricing, and effective dates of the Wrap are accurate. Maintain 100% accuracy with flyers while working on extremely tight, inflexible deadlines. Participate in the development and action of yearly competency performance work plans and development action plans. Provide leadership in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and Food Safety, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and legislation, and assisting in identifying and correcting unhealthy or unsafe situations.
Minimum Qualification :
University Degree or College Diploma Five (5) years’ experience with print and digital flyer programs including production and media (buying, trafficking, analyzing and optimizing) Experience working with media terminology, media math, and reach and frequency calculations Category management experience an asset Experience with budget forecasting Understanding of marketing channels Change Management /negotiation skills Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment, maintaining a professional composure Ability to build partnerships, set and manage priorities, and meet deadlines, all within a multi-tasking environment
Desirable Qualifications:
Understanding of programmatic media bidding, targeting, and optimization Experience managing a print flyer program in a grocery retail environment
