POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (engineering, operations, finance, etc.) to understand project requirements and ensure procurement strategies align with project goals Develop and manage purchase requisitions, RFPs/RFQs, evaluate proposals, negotiate prices, and manage supplier relationships Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, innovations, and regulations related to fueling infrastructure and energy procurement Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring compliance with agreements and quality standards Drive cost-saving initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvement within the procurement function Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, market analysis, and supplier performance to management Train, qualify and maintain a firm understanding of railroad operations safety Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate governance standards throughout the procurement process
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 3 years of experience in project / materials management, specifically in sourcing and managing suppliers for transportation and/or infrastructure projects. Experience in the energy sector or fueling infrastructure is highly advantageous Strong negotiation, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in ERP systems preferably SAP and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to understand market dynamics and legal regulations in the railway and technology sector Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously Commitment to sustainability and understanding of sustainable procurement principles
