Our valued client is looking for a Sr. IT and Technology Operations Manager to oversee software systems and software development teams for a leading retail client .
This is a full-time, permanent position in Ottawa, ON. The role is % on-site.
Tasks include:
Reporting to the CIO, manage & mentor a small but dynamic software development team, ensuring alignment with business goals Enterprise Software Management: Oversee and optimize the use of key enterprise systems such as Salesforce Commerce, Salesforce Marketing, NetSuite, Manhattan Scale, and Talkdesk IT Operations: Lead the management of network infrastructure, cloud services, and security protocols, ensuring optimal performance and reliability Project Management: Drive technology projects from inception to completion, including software development, system integrations, and network upgrades People Management: Lead a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment Report on productivity, projects, processes Technical Expertise: Utilize your hands-on experience in network and cloud certifications to support and guide your team in troubleshooting and system improvements
Must have:
5-7 years
managing IT operations in smaller or startup environments, where wearing multiple hats is the norm Experience
managing enterprise systems/services like Salesforce Commerce, Salesforce Marketing, NetSuite, Manhattan Scale, and Talkdesk Strong
understanding of network infrastructure, cloud services, and security protocols Experience in
leading IT projects , including software development and system integrations
Nice to have:
Have come from a development background (C# .Net) Network and cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure)
