Robert Half is seeking a dynamic Human Recourse Director for our client, an exciting and innovative Canadian organization that is experiencing significant growth.
As the Human Resources Director, you will lead the HR team, be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with business objectives. You will lead all aspects of human resources management, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, compensation and benefits, compliance, and HR operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership:
· Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy.
· Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team on all HR-related matters.
· Monitor HR metrics, such as retention and turnover rates, to inform strategic HR decisions.
· Foster a positive and inclusive company culture that promotes employee engagement and retention.
Talent Acquisition and Management:
· Lead the recruitment and selection process, ensuring top talent attraction aligned with company values and goals.
· Develop onboarding and training programs to support employee development.
· Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
Compensation and Benefits:
· Design competitive compensation and benefits programs.
· Manage employee benefits programs, including health, wellness, and retirement plans.
Employee Relations and Compliance:
· Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal labor laws and regulations.
· Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
