Job Title: QA Manager
Location: Hybrid (2-3 days in DT Toronto office)
Job Overview:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in QA strategy, planning, and automation, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software products. As a QA Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire QA process, from defining strategies to executing test plans, and ensuring that all software meets the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement QA strategies and processes that align with the company’s goals and objectives. Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools and skills to perform their roles effectively. Design and oversee the execution of comprehensive test plans, including functional, regression, and performance testing. Implement and manage automation frameworks to increase efficiency and coverage in testing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and operations, to ensure seamless integration of QA processes. Monitor and report on key QA metrics, identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous enhancement of QA practices. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, particularly in the insurance domain.
Must-Have Qualifications:
6+ years of experience as
QA Manager/Lead with a strong focus on
strategy, planning, and automation. Extensive experience with
automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). Strong understanding of
software development lifecycles (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Experience with
performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner). Familiarity with
CI/CD pipelines and integrating QA processes into automated workflows.
