Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership : Manage and oversee environmental projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline goals.
- Environmental Assessments : Conduct and review environmental impact assessments (EIAs), site assessments, and remediation projects to ensure compliance with regulations and standards. (Phase I & II)
- Sustainability Initiatives : Develop and implement sustainability strategies for projects, focusing on reducing environmental footprints and promoting eco-friendly practices.
- Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and community stakeholders to communicate project goals, progress, and outcomes effectively.
- Team Coordination : Lead and mentor a team of environmental scientists and engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Regulatory Compliance : Ensure all projects comply with federal, provincial, and local environmental regulations and standards.
- Technical Reporting : Prepare comprehensive technical reports, proposals, and presentations for clients and regulatory bodies.
- Risk Management : Identify and mitigate environmental risks associated with projects, ensuring proactive solutions and contingency plans are in place.

Qualifications:
- Educational Background : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., P.Eng., P.Geo., PMP) is an asset.
- Experience : Minimum of 8 years of experience in environmental project management, including site assessments, remediation, and regulatory compliance.
- Technical Proficiency : Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards in Canada. Proficiency in using environmental software and tools for assessments and reporting.
- Leadership Skills : Proven experience in leading and managing project teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-Solving Abilities : Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex environmental challenges.
- Sustainability Focus : Passion for sustainability and environmental protection, with a track record of implementing eco-friendly practices in projects.
