What would you be doing?
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and development of multi-location office and consulting employees, ensuring high engagement and retention. Handle all aspects of operations including financial forecasting, budgeting, P&L management, and resource allocation to drive efficiency and profitability. Utilize knowledge of Alberta’s site assessment, remediation, and reclamation guidelines to ensure compliance and excellence in project delivery. Implement and align business strategies with corporate objectives, driving growth through business development, proposals, and marketing. Lead and enforce safety programs, promoting a proactive culture of health and safety while ensuring adherence to all regulations.
Does this sound like you?
Over 12 years of experience in environmental consulting, with more than 5 years in a leadership role. Holds a Technical Diploma or University Degree in environmental science or a related field; eligible for professional designation. Ability to review, sign, and stamp technical reports; extensive expertise in assessment, remediation, and reclamation. Proficient in forecasting, utilization, resource planning, and P&L management; strong business acumen. Exceptional leadership, influencing, and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage multi-projects in deadline-driven environments. Proven ability to develop strong working relationships across diverse backgrounds, prioritize work, adapt to changing priorities, and resolve issues proactively. Strong collaboration and conflict resolution skills. Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
