We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager in the Wholesale Distribution industry, based in Oshawa, Ontario. In this role, you will be in charge of the full marketing lifecycle, including planning, execution, evaluation, and reporting for a diverse range of companies and products. You will liaise with both internal and external parties, with a focus on driving sales revenue and market share.
Responsibilities:
Lead marketing efforts across multiple channels, including trade shows, media campaigns (magazines, digital, radio, TV), and promotional materials (point-of-sale, signage, giveaways). Develop and manage creative content for the website, e-commerce, and social media platforms. Plan and execute product launches, marketing campaigns, contests, and sales promotions, ensuring cross-functional collaboration with sales teams and other departments. Oversee public relations, securing press coverage and building relationships with key media, influencers, and industry stakeholders. Manage ambassador and affiliate programs, including contract negotiations and performance tracking. Collaborate with sales and factory teams to drive business growth, identify opportunities, and support key accounts and channels. Conduct market research to identify trends and competitive insights, using data to optimize strategies and increase brand awareness. Develop and manage marketing plans, including forecasts, budgets, and performance tracking for campaigns and initiatives. Coordinate in-store dealer support, product placement, and trade show execution for various industries (Outdoor, Law Enforcement, Military/Defense). Maintain professional knowledge through workshops, publications, and networking, while leading CRM improvement initiatives and document control (Salesforce, Dealer Portal). Supervise and motivate staff, ensuring accountability for meeting deadlines, budgets, and brand standards. Prepare presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders, including dealers, buyers, and executives.
