Rostering and Administration Officer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Rostering and Administration Officer role within the Rex Airlines Airport team. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, has a strong initiative, a desire to add value to the business, and is interested in a long-term role within an expanding Airport team.
Key selection criteria:
- Demonstrates experience in rostering/payroll systems
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Task driven and focused with an ability to time manage, prioritize and multitask
- Strong administration skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Well presented with a professional and friendly mannerism
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Play a pivotal role in the management of the staff rosters and the administration of the rostering/payroll system and employee leave planners
- Managing all telephone calls in a professional and polite manner
- Provide administrative support to the Airport Manager
- Establishing and maintaining systems and processes for all administrative areas of the office/Airport facilities
- Handle and store sensitive information appropriately
- Prepare and maintain internal Airline billing records
- General ad-hoc duties where assigned
Candidate requirements:
- Previous rostering experience is preferable
- Previous payroll experience is preferable
- Excellent communication skills and confidence to handle all employee enquiries
- Strong computer skills including all Microsoft Office suite
