About the Company
This organisation is a leading Australian mid-market private equity group that partners with founders and management teams in successful Australian and New Zealand private businesses to accelerate growth, manage succession, and create lasting shareholder value. They are looking for a bookkeeper to join the team for an initial 4 week commitment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Process accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.
- Prepare financial reports and statements.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
- Liaise with external auditors and stakeholders as required.
- Support the financial management of The Generations Foundation initiatives.
Key Requirements
The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role, with proficiency in accounting software such as MYOB and Xero. A strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures, excellent organizational and time-management skills, high attention to detail and accuracy, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also required. A relevant certification or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
