Service Coordinators work with customers and clients to provide quality service by assessing the service needs of the clients and coordinating the deployment of manpower to the service jobs.
YOUR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Support
• Responsible for providing 1st line technical support to Service Engineers on Service jobs which includes; Inspection & Maintenance, Spare Parts & Repair, Refurbishment & Upgrades, Hook Replacement etc.
• Work in accordance with the company’s latest Strategy, Quality Manual, HSE policy, and applicable laws and regulations
Coordination of Service Jobs
• Timely execution of work orders received in accordance with customer scheduling and appropriate flag/class requirements
• Coordinate the deployment of Service Engineers
• Control the cost, quality, and schedule of the Service jobs
• Coordinate with the Spares Department on any spare parts required for the Service jobs
• Verification of service reports, claims, overtime, and overseas allowance
Service Job Costing and Month-end Closing
• Generate Service job costings based on related overtime sheets and expenses and in accordance with the Service Agreement as stated in the Order Confirmation
• Ensure all costs towards the customer are captured, invoiced, and closed in a timely manner
• Generate quotes, issue purchase orders, close invoices, etc.
• Providing after-sales support – following up with customers after completion of service jobs for service and spares recommendations
YOUR QUALIFICATION
• Diploma qualifications or equivalent in any discipline (preferably with an engineering or technical background)
• 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience in service coordination
• Previous working experience in the Marine and offshore industry preferred
• Familiar with using CRM database systems or equivalent (e.g., SAP)
• Computer literate with good MS Office skills in Word, Excel
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Effective communicator and team player
