Due to rapid growth and expansion we have an exciting opportunity for a Buyer to join our team based in our stunning Rosebery offices.
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic & experienced individual to join the Buying Team & report into our Head Buyer.

Responsibilities:
- Work with the Buyers & Planners to develop a multi-category womenswear range catering to both the Australian & international market.
- Buy in line with monthly category budgets & option plans to meet business targets.
- Manage repeat orders of best sellers & core lines to maximise sales.
- Ensure assortment depth and size curves are relevant and in line with sales patterns.
- Accountable for end-to-end execution of category ranges from product selection, order placement, timeline management & financial performance to deliver key metrics.
- Review weekly product lifecycle & sales trends highlighting best and worst performers & areas of opportunity.
- Analyse daily sales data & use this information to assist with the buy plan.
- Provide product performance feedback/findings to the design teams & offer guidance for future developments.
- Achieve intake margin targets in line with business goals.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with suppliers & factories.
- Follow and contribute to the OTB process, including sales forecasting, product buy & markdowns.
- Maintain a strong awareness of competitors and marketplace.
- Analyse category performance & buying trends across AU & US storefronts to build a deep understanding of the customer and the business.
- Regular reviews of future orders and current inventory hold, highlighting opportunities and risks.
- Work with Marketing & Social Teams to ensure key items are promoted and featured in campaigns.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Buying position in ecommerce apparel.
- Demonstrated knowledge of merchandise planning, OTB management and ROI principles.
- Strong skills in Google Sheets/Excel.
- Understanding and solid interpretation of global trends.
- Good judgement and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage a high workload and meet tight deadlines.
- Exceptional organisational skills.
- High level of accuracy & attention to detail.
- Can work autonomously as well as part of a team.
- Strong Communicator - ability to form relationships across the business.
