Job Description
The Procurement Specialist will have the following responsibilities:
- Development of category and sourcing strategies, RFXs, contract negotiations, contract management plans, and supplier relationship/performance management.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide guidance on procurement decisions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Monitor and report upon supplier performance and compliance with contractual agreements, addressing any issues or discrepancies as needed.
- Champion sustainable procurement practices, ensuring that environmental and social considerations are integrated into decision-making processes.
- Influencing and mobilising stakeholders to deliver impactful change through clear communications and presentations.
- Promote and drive a comprehensive understanding of the Procurement Policy and its associated processes.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate for the Procurement Specialist role will ideally have the following key skills and qualities:
- Proven experience in an indirect procurement role.
- Solid understanding of tendering and contract negotiation.
- Sourcing experience.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Experience procuring in facilities management is desired but isn't essential.
What's on Offer
Benefits will include:
- Salary $110,000 - $120,000.
- Hybrid working.
- 7.5% annual bonus.
