- Translate business requirements into detailed functional and non-functional specifications.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business process models, use cases, and requirements traceability matrix.
- Serve as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of requirements.
- Conduct gap analysis and propose solutions to bridge the gap between existing and desired capabilities.
- Lead requirements gathering workshops and meetings, ensuring active participation from all relevant stakeholders.
- Facilitate discussions to resolve conflicts, prioritize requirements, and make informed decisions.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and development teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
- Conduct thorough testing to validate the functionality and performance of implemented solutions.
- Provide support and guidance to junior business analysts, fostering their growth and development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven experience as a Lead Business Analyst, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
- In-depth knowledge of business analysis methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Proficiency in requirement management tools and software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to lead and facilitate workshops and meetings, effectively capturing and documenting requirements.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies is highly desired.
- Professional certifications in business analysis (e.g., CBAP) is a plus.
