Key Responsibilities:
- Technical & Strategic Support:
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand government clients' needs and develop tailored solutions that align with state and federal regulations.
- Design and deliver customized presentations, demonstrations, and proof of concepts (POCs) that address the unique challenges of government entities.
- Work closely with product development teams to ensure solutions meet the security, compliance, and functionality requirements of state and federal agencies.
- Government Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within state and federal government agencies to understand their objectives and procurement processes.
- Assist in the preparation of RFP/RFI responses, ensuring all submissions are compliant with government standards and highlight our solutions' value.
- Provide technical consultation to government clients, offering insights on how our solutions can effectively meet their specific needs.
- Market & Regulatory Insights:
- Stay informed on the latest trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements within the state and federal government sectors.
- Provide the sales and marketing teams with insights to help develop strategies for penetrating and expanding within the government market.
- Monitor and analyze competitor activities within the government sector to identify opportunities and threats.
- Solution Development & Compliance:
- Collaborate with internal teams to design solutions that not only meet client needs but also comply with government regulations such as FedRAMP, FISMA, and others.
- Ensure all proposed solutions are secure, scalable, and align with the compliance requirements of government contracts.
- Provide continuous feedback to product teams based on government client interactions and emerging market needs.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a presales or technical sales role, with a focus on US state and federal government markets.
- Strong understanding of government procurement processes, regulatory environments, and contracting vehicles.
Skills:
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into accessible language for government stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset for developing solutions that align with government needs.
- Experience in preparing RFP/RFI responses and working with government contracting frameworks.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
