The Creative team provides customers with original, relevant, and contemporary visuals. Through an industry-unique combination of consumer research, proprietary data, and three decades of trend reporting experience, the team delivers actionable insights that guide customers to the visual content that connects with consumers. Closely collaborating with our contributor base of photographers, videographers, and illustrators around the world, the team develops market leading, authentic, and differentiated content.

- You are curious and passionate about the way imagery works. You are naturally interested in visual communication in all forms and love discussing the content that you come across. You are equal parts creative and analytical.
- You enjoy research and are comfortable sharing what you know with the world at large.
- You are highly organized and detail-oriented, able to handle the moving parts of multiple work streams operating simultaneously while still meeting deadlines.
- A creative problem-solver with the ability to quickly identify problems and work independently to find appropriate solutions. You have a pulse on what’s new and next in art and culture and are not afraid to share your insights and perspective with a multi-disciplinary creative team.
Your Next Challenge:
- Responsibilities include leading client interactions in visual content discussions, forming and growing trusted client relationships, crafting strategic content and maintaining Getty Images and iStock’s position as the leader in visual communication.
- Develop role as strategic client partner and advisor across ongoing initiatives, conceiving and driving.
- Build and direct thoughtful solutions to complex visual brand and communications challenges on behalf of Getty Images’ and iStock customer segments.
- Consult with key clients on a range of strategic brand initiatives, including visual brand positioning, thought leadership etc. Influence at a high level (C Suite or Head of regional/global departments).
- Work with Sales teams to bring in new business based on the visual positioning of the Creative department’s visual expertise and content offering.
- Continue to build on knowledge of visual usage patterns by industries and brands to deliver strategies that elevate internal thinking and evolve customer visual brand planning.
- Collaborate with content creation and creator engagement teams to craft briefing processes and execution in alignment with the overarching Creative department narratives.
- Collaborate with Curation and Promotion leads on setting visual strategy for externally-facing creative initiatives.
- Inform and educate Getty Images’ and iStock creator communities through a number of activities such as webinars, briefing strategies and in person events.
- Lead a regional research team in supporting Marketing, PR, Creative, Editorial, Product and Sales organizations in showing the strength of Getty Images and iStock’s creative offering to customers.
- Inspire and grow junior team members.
- Act as a senior thought leader through speaking at international conferences and industry events.
- Mentor, strengthen and develop your team through effective performance management.
What You'll Need:
- 10+ years experience in a related position in a Branding, Advertising Agency, or related professional services such as a Research Agency.
- A strategic problem solver with the ability to instill confidence in clients and across internal teams.
- An excellent verbal and written communicator, comfortable preparing presentations and speaking in front of groups.
- Passion for visuals with strong understanding of visual communication strategy.
- Ability to lead members of the team across a region (EMEA).
- Experience influencing at a high level (C Suite or Head of regional/global departments).
- Consistent track record in mentoring and development of junior managers.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate insights strategy and execution at ExCom level.
- Shown experience collaborating with and influencing leaders to maintain consistency and scale processes across teams.
- Expert communicator with strong written and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas, timelines, and mediate between stakeholders.
- The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels within an organization and shown ability to establish trust quickly and create win-win situations.
- The capacity to handle change in end-to-end processes.
- Project leadership and organizational skills to transform ideas into successful execution while being capable of driving complex projects across multiple groups within tight timelines.
- A committed self-starter who can operate in a fast-paced environment and thrives on competing deliverables.
- Adept at deriving clarity out of ambiguous situations and adaptable to change.
- Proficient in the Microsoft suite of products, such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, etc.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and analyzing data to support business decisions and to provide insight into future initiatives.
