COMMUNITY PAEDIATRIC SPECIALTY DOCTOR

Job Details:
Salary: £59,175 - £95,400 per annum (Pro-Rata)
Contract: Substantive
Hours: Full-time: 10 Programmed Activities (DCC:SPA = 8:2)
On call: None
Location: Child and Family Health Centre, 79 Axe Street, Barking, IG11 7L
Qualifications needed:
- Full GMC Registration with a license to practice
- Mastery in the management of a broad range of physical health conditions in babies, children, and young people, including neurodevelopmental disorders
- At least 4 years post graduate training including community paediatrics (or demonstrate equivalent experience and competences)
- Knowledge and training in Child safeguarding
- Valid Level 3 Safeguarding Training

Job responsibilities: - Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to babies, children, and young people across Barking and Dagenham
- Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team
- Work directly with babies, children and young people, and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external health providers and acute hospitals
- Participate in the local Child Protection rota
- Support your peers and team leader, and be an effective team member
- Commit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals, and agencies
Person Specification: GMC: - Full GMC Registration with a license to practice
