The Role
As a result of continued growth, a Marketing Communications Manager position has been created to manage the in-house marketing communications function within this corporation’s Investor Relations division. Reporting to the Director and liaising with a range of Senior Executives, you will be instrumental in executing the marketing strategy for how the company communicates with various investor channels including private investors, wealth management groups, platforms, and various Funds/institutions.
Specifically, your responsibilities include content generation and delivery including the company website and direct stakeholder communications, report writing, media and stakeholder relations, development of pitch documents and associated collateral in both digital and print, social media strategy and execution particularly LinkedIn, developing a program of key thought industry forums and events, event coordination, internal marketing communications strategy, and any other relevant marketing activities that support the company’s growth agenda.
Note that this is a hands-on autonomous role with no direct reports.
Skills Qualifications & Experience
We are primarily looking for an experienced Communications Manager who has strong experience in marketing to investors, in addition to:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline
- Strong marketing communications experience from a Property Finance, Funds/Asset Management, or Banking/Financial services company and understanding of the customer journey
- High-level written communication skills and reporting skills
- Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills
- Digital Marketing & CRM experience highly valued
- Experience with PR & media relations, able to manage external agencies to deliver
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Strong technical capability including analytical and organisational skills with extreme attention to detail and accuracy.
