The Role
Due to recently awarded contracts with some of Australia’s biggest Telecommunications carriers, we have a new position for a Contract Administrator, reporting to the Commercial Manager. The preference is for this role to be based in Sydney; however, we are open to other locations for the right candidate.
You will support the project with effective management of both upstream and downstream contractual obligations and commitments including:
- Ensuring subcontractor claims are processed in line with company policy and regulatory requirements
- Supporting and coordinating the review and timely approval (or dispute) of payment claims to clients
- Head contract reporting and management of key critical productivity data analytics for delivery of services
- Document control of correspondence and registers
- Ensuring commercial processes and systems are established for the project
- Assisting the team in month-end reporting
About You
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business Administration, or similar
- Experience in a Contract Administration role with exposure to construction projects
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply contracts
- Solid understanding of cost control functions in relation to payment of subcontractors and suppliers
- Self-starter with a firm approach in upholding governance
- Proficient in the MS Office suite of applications
