Job Description
Working in close collaboration with all brand organizations (including Ennismore) and their various functional teams, The Brand Advisory Director is responsible for the delivery of residential brand advisory services globally.
The Brand Advisory Director collaborates with residential development partners during the strategic planning process, ultimately approves residential marketing strategies, oversees the delivery of brand and product training to developer sales teams and brokers. The Brand Advisory Director assists partners in effectively bringing the brand to life in all sales and marketing applications, coordinates marketing material review and approval processes internally with relevant stakeholders (serving as a single point of contact for development partners) and assists partners in leveraging appropriate Accor platforms to support residential lead generation.
Reporting to the Chief Business Officer, Accor One Living, Global Head of Mixed-Use Properties, The Director Brand Advisory duties will be to:
- Coordinate Residential Project Kickoff Sessions (aka “Envisioning Sessions”) with development partners and their sales & marketing teams, ensuring participation of key internal and external stakeholders (especially D&TS).
- Share understanding of target market & the ways in which homeowners are likely to use property. Workshop outcomes driven by consumer insights related to design (including: unit mix & residential amenities), customization of services, owner benefits & governing documents, sales and marketing strategy.
- Identify key milestones and a critical path leading to commencement of sales and marketing.
- Identify opportunities for Accor/relevant brand organization to collaborate and amplify planned marketing activity of development partner.
- Provide brand advisory services to development partners (advising on brand, sales and marketing standards).
- Review and approve sales and marketing plan (including pricing and absorption), ensuring alignment to Market Study (working with relevant regional VP, Accor One Living); vet regional marketing agencies, approve all sales and marketing consultants.
- Ensure development partners comply with all conditions to commence marketing.
Qualifications
Typical Background
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Marketing/Business/Hotel/Finance/Real Estate or similar.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in residential real estate. A background in branded residential development and hospitality is extremely valuable, with a deep understanding of mixed-use development.
