Job Overview
Responsible for providing comprehensive medical consultations and check-ups, with a focus on annual physical examinations, HMO and Insurance patient care, Konsulta Package Program consultations, and various additional responsibilities. Strong background in general medicine, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
New General Cases in OPD
- Assess and manage new general cases presented in the Out-Patient Department during clinic hours to support the Family Medicine Doctors as deemed necessary.
- Ensure the timely and accurate diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of patients.
Annual Physical Examinations:
- Conduct thorough consultations for patients scheduled for annual physical examinations.
- Perform comprehensive physical assessments, including medical history review, vital signs measurement, and necessary diagnostic tests.
- Provide health education and preventive care recommendations to promote overall well-being.
HMO Patient and Insurance Consultations and Check-ups:
- Collaborate with HMO providers to coordinate and deliver healthcare services to enrolled patients.
- Conduct detailed consultations and examinations for HMO patients, ensuring adherence to established protocols and guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with HMO representatives to facilitate seamless patient care and authorization processes.
Konsulta Package Program:
- Conduct consultations for Konsulta Package Program patients in various settings, including general consultation in identified communities, offices, and similar venues.
- Deliver health lectures to promote awareness and education within the community.
Diagnostic and Referral Services:
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with specialists and make appropriate referrals for further evaluation or treatment.
- Monitor patients undergoing treadmill and CT scan with contrast.
Leadership and Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and coordinated patient care.
- Other Assigned Tasks:
- Undertake additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned by the medical leadership team.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from a reputable institution.
- Board certification as Medical Doctor.
- Valid medical license and compliance with state regulations.
- Valid ACLS certification.
- Active participation in continuing medical education to stay updated with the latest medical advancements.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in outpatient care and familiarity with HMO processes is preferred.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems.
Clinic Hours:
- 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM (1st Shift); 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM (2nd Shift) (Mondays to Saturdays)
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Sundays)
