The Deputy Head of Business Development is a pivotal leadership role that combines strategic business development with oversight of construction operations. This position is responsible for driving growth, managing construction projects, and ensuring that business objectives align with operational capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Business Development - Developing and implementing business development strategies to increase revenue and market share.
- Construction Management - Overseeing the design, planning, and execution of construction projects.
- Contract Negotiation and Management - Managing and overseeing the budgeting and scheduling of construction projects.
- Relationship Building - Coordinating internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth processes and flow of the projects.
- Reporting and Analysis - Conduct strategic analysis based on data, performance, project report and status, risk assessment, feedback and updates.
- Team Management
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is typically required.
- At least 18 years of relevant experience business development and/or construction preferably in FMCG, Fast Food, or Retail.
- At least 10 years in a leadership role and a strong track record of successful project construction, development and management.
- Proven ability to analyze market data, make data-driven decisions, and develop effective strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with potential partners, stakeholders, and clients, as well as the ability to negotiate and close deals effectively.
- Data-driven approach with a strong understanding of location demographics, and brand positioning.
