About the role:
We are searching for a resourceful, enthusiastic and experienced brand manager to join our business.
The successful candidate will be the champion of the group’s brand image, responsible for crafting and upholding its identity and reputation and ensuring that all branding initiatives and brand campaigns are aligned with the company’s overall strategy. This role involves working closely with all divisions within the group to create and implement effective brand strategies.
You’ll work on devising and delivering a range of content for use across both traditional and digital platforms that helps to effectively promote Churchill as a brand and the services it offers, as well as enhance the group brand.
Reporting to the Group Director of Sales, the key activities and responsibilities of the role are as follows:
- Brand Strategy and Vision: You will be the spearhead of the development of the brand strategy, ensuring it aligns with the company’s overall mission and vision. This involves defining the brand’s target audience, core virtues, and unique selling proposition.
- Market Research and Analysis: You will stay on top of market trends and consumer preferences through research and analysis. You will use this knowledge to inform brand messaging and ensure it resonates with our target audience.
- Campaign Creation and Execution: You will develop and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, both traditional (print, TV) and digital (social media, content marketing). You will work collaboratively with the marketing department to ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials.
- Content Marketing: You will be responsible for overseeing the company's content strategy and creation. This involves developing content (blog posts, videos, social media content) that informs, engages, and resonates with our target audience.
- Brand Measurement and ROI: You will track the performance of brand marketing campaigns and measure the return on investment (ROI) to assess their effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Relationship Building: Collaboration is key, you will be required to build strong relationships with internal teams (sales, operations, etc.) and external partners (service partners, customers, etc.) to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.
Requirements:
- At least two years’ experience in a brand marketing related role.
- To have a creative direction and vision.
- A creative ability to devise and deliver compelling campaigns.
- Good research and analytical skills to gain an accurate understanding of the subject in question.
- The ability to manage and deliver multiple projects, often to tight deadlines.
- A creative approach, both in coming up with ideas for new projects and for getting a message across innovatively.
- The ability to lead, mentor and develop a team.
- An understanding and proven experience of digital marketing and awareness of Paid Search and Search Engine Optimisation.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- While not crucial, an understanding of the B2B Security & Facilities sector and the relevant technologies would be highly desirable.
- Whilst not crucial, be educated to degree level with a relevant qualification.
