By leveraging your interest and curiosity in property development, you’ll partner with developers and vendors to investors and buyers, playing a crucial role in helping them find their perfect home. With sound commercial acumen unlocking unlimited earning potential, you’ll own your day-to-day and take charge of your success.
As the Property Sales Lead, you will be at the forefront of our sales team, driving results and leading a group of ambitious individuals. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the success of our new Christchurch business. You will be responsible for not only managing your own sales portfolio but also mentoring, guiding, and coordinating the efforts of the sales team to elevate their performance and achieve our big audacious goals!
The day-to-day
- Leadership Lead with empathy and ambition, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. You’ll mentor and coach your, helping them develop their sales skills, market expertise, and industry knowledge
- Customer Experience You’ll build effective and long standing relationships with buyers and vendors by understanding client needs for the perfect property match
- Market Expertise You’ll research land market trends, determine property values and offer pricing advice
- Property Assessment Visit sites to assess potential, investigate zoning rules and development possibilities
- Deal Negotiation Skill-fully negotiate contracts, manage closing processes efficiently
- Compliance The detail never escapes your attention, ensure paperwork is spot-on
- Learning & Growth Facilitate training and professional development opportunities for the team to keep them updated on industry trends and encourage a continuous learning mindset
- Time Management An organised life. You’ll seamlessly plan and manage the daily, weekly and monthly goals with your team
- Communication Utilise a range of tools for effective communication. You enjoy keeping people in the loop with regular updates and understand who needs to know
The skills we're looking for
- Active Real Estate Licence You’ll have an active real estate licence in New Zealand
- Proven Leadership Experience An open-minded and deeply curious leader with a vast people management toolkit, capable of building strong cross-functional relationships with a growth and problem solving mindset
- Commercial Acumen You’re able to understand, analyse, and make sound business decisions
- Zoning and Property Development Knowledge You’re a quick learner with the ability to grasp complex product details and market dynamics. You’ll ideally bring knowledge of the property development lifecycle or a keenness to learn
- Communication and Negotiation Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively represent vendor and buyer interests
- Interpersonal Skills Exceptional interpersonal and networking abilities to build and maintain client relationships
- Tech Savvy Experience with using CRM software for lead management and data entry (Vaultre) with the ambition to meet and exceed lead qualification goals and KPI’s
