As a Master of your Craft, you will…
- Establish relationships with local attractions, restaurants and other businesses to enhance guests’ experiences.
- Provide recommendations and arrange services for guests as requested (e.g., car rental, airline and train tickets, office services, beauty and barber services, repairs, and shopping).
- Ensure repeat and VIP guests are receiving appropriate service and ensure their requests are carried out.
- Ensure guest experience porters & doorperson team effectively handle guest requests and adhere to all hotel policies, procedures and standards while striving towards total guest satisfaction.
- Assist with department management & development through planning & execution of holidays, payroll & rotas, recruitment, induction, training, appraisals & performance management of their teams - close liaison in terms of spot checks, and regular meetings as required.
- Improve service by assisting individuals to understand guest needs, providing guidance, feedback, and individual coaching when needed.
- Welcome all guests who come to the hotel and ensure they are fully informed about events at the hotel and work closely with F&B and M&E outlets.
- Ensure the hotel entrance is always covered.
- Ensure awareness of everything happening in the hotel and which areas and direct every guest accordingly.
- Create a welcoming atmosphere and personalised service for each external and internal guest having an eye for detail and responding appropriately to guest, colleague and leadership feedback.
