Salary & Benefits

Job Summary:
The Head of Group Marketing and Communications will be responsible for the strategic direction, execution, and overall management of all marketing and communications activities for Beresfords Property Group. This includes its Residential Sales and Lettings Divisions, Land, New Homes, Country & Village, as well as other companies under the group umbrella, such as Whybrow, Flagstone, Cheke & Co, and Countryside Breaks.
The role requires a personable and dynamic leader with a proven track record in developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive business growth, and maintain a consistent corporate image across all channels.
You must have a positive, can-do attitude, and have the ability to problem solve, be capable and confident managing a team. You will need to demonstrate strong leadership skills and be confident working with internal stakeholders and senior management to present and voice ideas so strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.
The exciting role requires flexibility as weekend/evening working will be required to attend events/ensure deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning and Leadership:
- Develop and implement a cohesive marketing and communications strategy for the entire group.
- Lead and manage the marketing and communications team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Align marketing strategies with the overall business objectives of each division and subsidiary.
Brand Management: - Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing and communications materials.
- Enhance and protect the Beresfords Property Group brand and its subsidiaries' brands.
- Oversee the development and execution of brand campaigns to increase market presence.
Marketing Campaigns: - Plan, execute, and evaluate multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, print, social media, events, etc.) for residential sales and lettings, Land, New Homes, Country and Village divisions, and other group companies.
- Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
Digital Marketing: - Oversee the group's digital marketing efforts, including website management, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and social media strategies.
- Drive digital innovation and leverage data analytics to optimize marketing performance.
Communications and Public Relations: - Develop and manage the group’s internal and external communications strategies.
- Serve as the primary contact for our engaged PR company who support with our media relations by crafting press releases, and handling public inquiries.
- Manage crisis communications and safeguard the group's reputation.
Market Research and Analysis: - Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, market trends, and competitive activities.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Budget Management: - Develop and manage the marketing and communications budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- Monitor expenditures and ensure cost-effective marketing initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement: - Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, clients, partners, and vendors.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and support for marketing initiatives.
Events: - Support in the conception and delivery of all Beresfords events.
- Manage the budget for all internal and external events.
- Oversee the management and execution of the events.
- Act as a brand ambassador, attending events to represent the company such as networking events, gala dinners, charity events etc.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing and communications, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in property marketing and a strong understanding of the real estate industry.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in using data to drive marketing decisions.

Hours of Work:
Full time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 6pm.
Once fully competent in the role and after successfully completing the probation period, hybrid working for one day per week will be available.
