As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Account Management to lead our account management team and drive client satisfaction and retention.
The Head of Account Management is a pivotal role focused on driving client growth, expanding relationships, and maximising revenue across our client base. You will lead a dynamic team of account managers, develop strategies to grow existing accounts, and ensure our clients realise the full potential of our software licensing solutions. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with a proven track record in scaling client relationships and driving revenue in the software industry.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing account management team.
- Set clear performance goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide ongoing coaching and support.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture taking the hybrid working environment into consideration.
- Develop and implement comprehensive account growth strategies aimed at maximising revenue and deepening client engagement.
- Identify and capitalise on upselling, cross-selling, and expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
- Collaborate with business development, marketing, and product teams to align growth strategies with company goals.
Relationship Expansion:
- Cultivate and expand relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within client organisations.
- Proactively engage with clients to identify new business opportunities, drive product adoption, and ensure our solutions align with their evolving needs.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic support and recommendations to enhance their business outcomes.
Operational Excellence:
- Ensure effective and efficient account management processes and practices, ensuring compliance with ISO Quality and Security standards.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures with respect to security, quality, and health and safety.
- Oversee contract renewals, negotiations, and compliance.
- Utilise CRM and other tools to track and report on account management activities and client health metrics.
Performance Measurement & Reporting:
- Establish KPIs and metrics to measure team and individual performance.
- Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on account management performance and client feedback.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Customer Advocacy:
- Act as a voice of the customer within the company, advocating for client needs and feedback.
- Work with product and development teams to ensure customer feedback is incorporated into product enhancements and roadmap planning.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- 7+ years of experience in account management, sales, or customer success in the software industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of software licensing models, SaaS, and enterprise software solutions.
- Proven track record of managing and growing key accounts.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to influence and negotiate at a senior level, both with the client, as well as with RealityMine‘s senior management team, to ensure success.
- Proficient in CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
