We are looking for a Head of Relationship Management to join us at this exciting time in our growth as we look to bring new innovative services and products. In this role, you will be directly managing a team of Relationship Managers and Assistant Relationship Managers and helping them in cultivating strategic relationships with our clients and setting and meeting commercial targets.
The team is closely supported by Business Development Managers, Onboarding Managers, Implementation Managers, and Payment Operations and Business Risk functions, which allows you the time to fully focus on nurturing strategic partnerships with clients of various sizes and segments.
Please note this is a predominantly office-based role in London which will require you to come in and collaborate with the team at least 3 days a week.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing a team of Relationship Managers and Assistant Relationship Managers, carrying out weekly one-on-one meetings and regular performance reviews.
- Helping the team in establishing and growing relationships with our regulated Financial Institution customers through targeted QBRs and strategic relationship management.
- Developing and overseeing short- and long-term upsell strategies for the Relationship Management team alongside tracking and reporting progress.
- Collaborating closely with our Risk Management teams to ensure compliance with regulations and alignment with our risk appetite.
- Supporting the team in advocating for our customers in various committees.
- Preparing reports on commercial targets and other client base related metrics.
- Keeping a pulse on industry trends, remaining at the forefront of the evolving landscape.
- Serving as a brand ambassador for LHV, representing us at industry events and networking with key stakeholders of our clients.
- Ability to travel to see clients and attend industry conferences.
Skills and Experience:
- In-depth knowledge and experience within Fintech, banking, or the payments industry.
- Passionate about payments and excellent client experience.
- Ability to break down complex problems and navigate difficult situations.
- Experience in developing upsell and go-to-market strategies.
- Previous experience in managing a team.
- Prior experience of building and cultivating relationships with clients in Fintech, banking, or payments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and good attention to detail.
