Job Description
We're seeking a dynamic Senior B2C Marketing Executive to drive our tactical marketing efforts across the UK. This role is perfect for a hands-on marketer who thrives on executing campaigns and delivering measurable results.
The role will support both brand campaigns and more tactical opportunities through the year - including our official sponsorship of the England cricket team - as we seek to grow IG's customer base and revenues through marketing investment.
Your role in the team
The UK is IG Group's biggest market by revenues, and IG is the biggest brand in the UK leveraged trading sector. The UK marketing team spends millions of pounds on brand, sponsorship and agencies each year to grow our customer base and revenues.
The role reports to the Head of Brand & Communications and is a key role for the UK marketing team.
This role is all about developing and executing on that growth opportunity.
What you’ll do
- Owning the UK marketing calendar to maintain a single, prioritised programme of work
- Supporting delivery of key campaigns and projects, coordinating with campaign managers, agency partners, media owners and other stakeholders to ensure the timely supply of high quality, effective solutions and assets
- Liaising with the ECB on sponsorship, activation and media amplification of the sponsorship. Looking for similar - more tactical - sponsorship and experiential opportunities
- Supporting the team in managing the local marketing budget, ensuring accuracy and consistency in how we forecast and report on spend/effectiveness of spend
- Gathering local market and competitor intelligence, and using to inform actionable insights and recommendations

What you’ll need for this role
- A minimum of 2 years' B2C campaign experience in scale-ups similarly dynamic environment
- Good fundamental marketing know-how, with an understanding of key digital marketing concepts
- A curious and creative spirit, with a can-do approach to identifying and solving problems
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- A commitment to learning everything there is to know about the principles and practices of marketing, as well as our customers, company and competition
- The ability and willingness to respond and adapt to change - markets change fast!
