Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging learning and development initiatives across the organization to enhance individual and organizational capabilities and facilitate a positive employee experience.
- Design highly interactive instructional content that integrates learning theories, instructional design methodologies, and best practice e-learning approaches to meet organizational needs.
- Collaborate with the business to understand training development requirements, analyze learning needs, and produce quality training resources to enhance employee capabilities.
- Develop and prepare cost-effective, high-quality instructional materials, guides, and other training collateral to improve managerial and organizational capabilities.
- Build and maintain partnerships with staff and managers to provide high-level learning and development services that meet customer needs.
- Contribute to the development of learning and development strategies, processes, and activities, applying best practices to support optimal service delivery.
- Evaluate and continuously improve technical, soft skills, behavioral, and leadership training for various audiences to ensure expected outcomes are achieved.
- Stay informed about relevant issues, policy obligations, industry trends, and challenges, and recommend innovative solutions to optimize outcomes and support best practices in organizational development.
Key Challenges:
- Balancing strategic organizational needs with delivering services that ensure a positive internal employee and client experience.
- Supporting the effectiveness of learning and development activities and strategies in a constantly evolving environment.
- Using feedback from stakeholders and client staff to continuously improve training and initiatives while managing competing needs and expectations.
Requirements
The Skills and Experience to Be a Star Performer:
- At least 5 years of experience as an Instructional Designer and 3 years in learning and development, training, or instructional design within the BPO industry.
- Proven experience in instructional design and instructional technology.
- Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models.
- Strong skills in lesson and curriculum planning.
- Proficient in course development software and at least one Learning Management System (LMS), preferably a SCORM-compliant tool or equivalent.
- Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts, and video scripts.
