Duties & Responsibilities
Bank and credit card accounts reconciliation Customer invoicing Checking of account emails Keeping clients’ documentation of financial transactions Preparing related reports and summaries Doing other bookkeeping and reporting tasks as needed
Requirements & Qualifications:
Excellent oral and written English communication skills A graduate of a 4-year business course (preferably Accountancy, Management Accounting, or Accounting Technology) Preferably with experience in bookkeeping for at least 2 years Knowledge in commonly used accounting systems, such as QuickBooks Online or Xero, is a plus Experience or knowledge of fundamental accounting concepts for Australian companies and Australian tax laws, including payroll and GST, is a plus Good working knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel and Outlook, and of Dropbox Excellent accuracy and data entry skills Able to perform tasks under pressure and complete on schedule Able to do tasks with minimum supervision Able to acquire proficiency in new systems and web tools
