Our Analytics & Insights (A&I) function plays a crucial role in driving data-informed decision-making to support our continued growth and innovation. We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader who will drive impactful commercial strategies, cultivate data-driven innovation, and will help grow our business via actionable insights. This role requires a strong leader who thrives at the intersection of data, insights, and strategy, with a deep understanding of the consumer landscape in the CEEMEA .
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor and develop the CEEMEA A&I team, delivering actionable insights to drive better commercial decisions for the LEGO business in the region.
Collaborate closely with the Head of Market Group, CEEMEA, and their leadership team to integrate data-driven insights into daily decision-making.
Analyze large data sets (including big data analytics and data science) to uncover insights related to products, channels, customers, shoppers, and members, driving informed business strategies.
Lead crucial business processes, such as regular evaluations of commercial performance, to provide concise and pertinent information on business performance.
Develop and elevate data & insights capabilities acting as a champion for best practices and crafting impactful moments of engagement for the business.
Support and socialize key business reports that enable efficient and effective decision-making, ensuring performance story lines are clear and actionable.
Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations, eCommerce) to ensure that insights are translated into strategic actions that drive commercial impact.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of analytics professionals, encouraging a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation.
Measure and report on critical metrics, ensuring the team’s work is aligned with commercial goals and drives substantial impact.
Ensure compliance with global data governance and privacy standards, safeguarding consumer trust and regulatory adherence.
Play Your Part in Our Team’s Success:
As the Head of Commercial Analytics & Insights for the CEEMEA, you will report directly to the Global VP of A&I and work closely with regional leadership team. You will be responsible for leading the team in analyzing commercial performance, finding opportunities, and enabling stronger commercial decisions through data-driven insights.
Do You Have What It Takes?
Rich and validated experience in analytics, insights, or data science, with confirmed experience in consumer goods, retail, or eCommerce organizations.
Strong commercial competence and ability to translate data into business impact and drive commercial decisions.
Consistent record of leading and developing analytics teams, particularly in a remote and multi-cultural environment.
Familiar with advanced analytics tools and techniques (e.g., predictive modeling, machine learning) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Exceptional communication skills with data driven storytelling and influence on key partners across all levels of the organization.
Financial competence and outstanding analytical skills with the ability to build new metrics and reporting that drive performance.
Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally to embed analytics in the decision-making process across multiple departments.
Experience in consulting or with best-in-class consumer brands would be an advantage.
