Funko is a purveyor of pop culture, making and selling license-focused collectibles. We’re based in Everett, WA where we have a store that delights kids of all ages (kids at heart included). We currently hold hundreds of licenses for franchises ranging from Marvel to Harry Potter, giving us the rights to create tens of thousands of characters—one of the largest portfolios in the pop culture and collectibles industry. We take your favorite characters and turn them into adorable, or sometimes scary, collectible figures. Our most famous line, Pop! Vinyl, has millions of fans around the world.
What You’ll Do
Funko’s Senior Director of eCommerce will be a key leader on the DTC team, managing the Company’s eCommerce business to drive overall growth. This position will be responsible for overseeing site experience, site merchandising, analytics, and content for Funko.com, Loungefly.com, Digital NFT’s and Mondo.com.
The Senior Director of eCommerce will work cross-functionally to create an experience that elevates the brand and drives engagement and conversion by exceeding the expectations of our consumers. The ideal candidate will be able to navigate through ambiguity, embrace collaboration, gain a strong understanding of Funko’s family of brands and its customers, and have a proven track record in managing the P&L of a successful eCommerce business with a strong growth trajectory. This is a fast-paced, highly visible, hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves type of role.

- Develop and execute Ecommerce strategic plans to drive productivity and meet company financial goals.
- Increase conversion for the brands, with an emphasis on trade performance for the DTC business.
- Increase overall customer engagement with the site and brand.
- Develop web strategy for all digital properties.
- Set vision and growth strategy for delivering a holistic and seamless eCommerce experience across the portfolio, resulting in financial growth and increased profitability.
- Actively and effectively partner with Marketing teams to deliver on the brand strategy where e-commerce is the priority conversion channel.
- Build, lead, and motivate a high performing team of eCommerce managers, web merchandisers, digital experience specialists, and Analytics experts with a view to grow, nurture and launch brands globally.
- Manage site performance including SEO optimization, conversion, bounce rate etc.
- Partner with Customer Service and operations teams to monitor customer satisfaction and service levels; identify and pursue business-driving and cost reduction opportunities.
- Manage product catalog and CMS, including SKU list, discount rules, redirects, images, and content pages.
- Manage in-season business by daily tracking and analyzing sales information and site metrics to identify opportunities to increase sales and site conversion in collaboration with our merchandise buying team.
- Partner with the buying team to drive sell through performance vs forecast and collaborate on forecast accuracy alongside our operations teams.
- Understand our customers’ purchase and post-purchase journeys quantitatively (through web and channel analytics) and qualitatively (through user research and insights) to maximize sales opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
- Create and present monthly performance reports for each category; analyze customer behavior, site metrics, and related findings to sales/site performance; present recommended strategies for current and future business based upon findings.
- Oversee concept development strategy by working closely with global digital & technology teams to define, and implement digital initiatives, delivering a best-in-class consumer experience, improve conversion, and create customer loyalty.
Must-Have Superhero Gadgetry
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, or a related subject.
- 10+ years' experience in digital business, eCommerce retailing.
- 7+ years as a manager of teams w/ strong people management, coaching, developing, and leadership skills.
- Proven success in managing eCommerce business initiatives from conception to implementation to delivery with quantifiable results.
- Expertise in current eCommerce industry best practices.
- Ability to identify new areas of eCommerce opportunity beyond current organizational thinking.
- Proven experience managing and being accountable for a business unit P&L.
- Demonstrated strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate highest impact initiatives.
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, entrepreneurial, high-energy environment that requires the ability to multi-task and implement high priority initiatives.
- History of building and maintaining trusting partnerships and relationships across internal teams as well as with the company’s external consumers, retail, and cross-functional partners.
- Demonstrated strategic business planning; financial and resource management skills.
- Ability to translate technical details to leadership.
- Operate at a hands-on, detailed level in addition to strategic thinking.

Salary Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $150,000 - $200,000 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units.
