Funko is a purveyor of pop culture, making and selling license-focused collectibles. We’re based in Everett, WA where we have a store that delights kids of all ages (kids at heart included). We currently hold hundreds of licenses for franchises ranging from Marvel to Harry Potter, giving us the rights to create tens of thousands of characters—one of the largest portfolios in the pop culture and collectibles industry. We take your favorite characters and turn them into adorable, or sometimes scary, collectible figures. Our most famous line, Pop! Vinyl, has millions of fans around the world.

Funko is looking to hire a super hero Technical Recruiter to join our small but powerful squadron to help the company achieve its growth objectives in the coming years. The successful candidate will be excited to establish and reinforce galaxy growing processes and standards, build strong relationships with internal client groups, and contribute to the development of Funko’s external employment brand. You will have an opportunity to work on both technical and non-tech positions and establish relationships with super hero leadership across the business. Your Superpowers In Action
- Perform full-cycle recruiting duties for a variety of roles both technical and non-technical, to determine whether they could be the peas to Funko’s carrots, the peanut butter to our jelly, the Tom to our Jerry, with a heavy emphasis on actively sourcing for difficult to fill positions;
- Work closely with the recruiting team to build and drive adoption of standardized, scalable hiring processes across the company, providing advice, coaching, and outstanding service to hiring managers in pursuit of achieving their hiring goals;
- Develop and reinforce exceptional standards for our candidates’ recruitment experience, establishing genuine relationships and never failing to provide diligent follow through;
- Provide strategic input to leadership regarding longer-term talent acquisition strategies and trends, including recruiting marketing efforts;
- Manage the interview process, providing clear communication for candidates, managers and internal stakeholders
Partner with HR team for compensation and sensitive internal candidate scenarios; - Help us keep the fun in Funko, the Pop! in pop culture, the team in teamwork … you get the picture.
Must-Have Super Hero Gadgetry
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent;
- 2 years of full life cycle recruiting experience in a corporate environment (consumer products industry is a plus);
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (experience with Jobvite a plus);
- Experience sourcing, identifying, attracting, and securing talent through traditional and/or passive (creative) recruiting methods;
- Utilize recruiting tools such as LinkedIn, Google, Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms to identify talent for position requirements;
- Strong communication;
- Blended experience in both technical and non-technical recruiting;
- Proven experience sourcing and closing leadership candidates, up to VP level;
- Self-starter mentality; comfortable with ambiguity, limited direction, and establishing something from nothing;
- Impeccable communication skills (both written and verbal) and attention to detail;
- Creativity, persistence, confidence and a relentlessly positive attitude are a must.
Salary Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $50.00 - 58.00 hourly.Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
