Position Summary
Responsible for managing and delivering assigned projects. Work with Senior Manager of IT Project Management & Business Analysis, IT Leadership, functional business units, project sponsors and stakeholders to understand the business needs of assigned projects and transfer those needs into technical requirements. Provide project status updates to project sponsors and stakeholders on project progress.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Take ownership of new projects and drive them throughout the scope of the project, including project definition, planning, approval, implementation and evaluation.
- Develop fit-for-purpose project plans, project sites, business analysis, specifications, test plans and test scripts for assigned projects.
- Monitor and report project status and milestone achievements for all phases of a project on a regular basis.
- Establish and monitor key project success metrics.
- Collaborating with process owners to evaluate and design process improvements, ongoing assessments, and facilitate business transformation and innovation.
- Be able to lead, drive a wide variety of technology projects including Cloud, Infrastructure, Network, IT Security, Applications, and Custom Development.
- Project Manage various kinds of Cloud implementation projects including SAAS, IAAS, and PAAS cloud projects for new solutions and migration of existing systems.
- Work with the Senior Manager of IT Project Management & Business Analysis to provide technical input for feature specifications.
- Coordinate work performed by outside vendors, contractors and consultants to reach project goals.
- Align technical and functional resources to specific project modules and tasks.
- Schedule, prepare and lead project team meetings.
- Meet and provide project updates to project sponsors, stakeholders and senior staff.
- Educate/mentor new and existing staff members in techniques, methods, policies, and best practices in project related work.
- Work with the Senior Manager of IT Project Management & Business Analysis to develop and evolve a repeatable approach that optimizes and standardizes business analysis and project management processes.
- Work with the Senior Manager of IT Project Management & Business Analysis to develop and evolve the IT Demand Management Process, IT project on-boarding, and IT Project Portfolio tracking.
- Provide assistance to colleagues in Information Technology, including but not limited to application troubleshooting, testing, and support.
- May volunteer or be selected to serve on special committees, work groups, project teams, or escalation teams related to various firm wide IT initiatives. Initiatives may be specific one-time events (e.g., research, testing, rollouts, upgrades, installations) or ongoing activities.

Requirements
Education: Bachelor's Degree in computer-related field. Additional training, education, and/or certification in relevant areas preferred. PMP Certification preferred.
Experience: Required: 5+ years of IT project management experience. Ability to lead projects and motivate team members. Excellent communication, organization, and prioritization skills. Able to effectively interact with individuals at all organizational levels. Law Firm experience a Plus.
Skills: Strong analytical and communication skills required. Possesses a solid understanding of firm goals and direction, and the ability to recognize and prioritize solutions that assist in meeting those goals. Computing in a Microsoft Windows environment, with strong proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite a (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project), Microsoft PowerBi, Microsoft SharePoint, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams is required.

Supervisory Responsibilities: No direct supervisory responsibilities, but must be able to lead and motivate matrix based reports for assigned projects.
Equipment To Be Used: Personal computer and other office equipment such as telephone, calculator, fax, machine, copier, scanner, etc.

- Attention to detail and accuracy are critical skills necessary for ensuring precision and quality in all tasks and responsibilities.
- Must have strong leadership skills and ability to demonstrate calm during periods of high volume or unusual events.
- Must work in office as required.
Working Conditions: You will be required to work in the office a minimum of 2 days per week . Occasionally called upon to work hours in excess of your normal daily schedule. The details of your weekly schedule will be discussed further with your direct supervisor.
