HOURS: 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM
JOB SUMMARY:
The Truck Technician is mainly responsible for diagnosing failures and recommending appropriate repair procedures for Peterbilt vehicles. The truck technician will complete the repair as instructed and provide customers with the best possible service by complying with dealership and factory standards. The vehicle must be kept neat and clean, all safety measures must be followed, and any issues must be reported to management immediately. In addition to repairs, mentorship will be provided to less-skilled technicians.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- A vocational diploma or degree in diesel or truck repair is required.
- Four to six years of related experience or training required or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
- CDL license recommended.
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- MX Engine, Cummins Heavy Duty, Cummins Mid-Range, Allison Transmission, or Eaton Transmission certifications preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee must frequently stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and move up to 40 pounds and frequently lift to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
