Position: Architecture Appraisal Writer (IT) - Business Architecture Team

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of the VBA upcoming IT initiatives and projects.
- Develop comprehensive 12-page documents detailing the current and future state IT environments.
- Identify and articulate implementation risks and key findings.
- Provide insights and recommendations to aid stakeholders in decision-making and IT project planning.
- Collaborate with team members and government POCs to gather necessary information and ensure accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Experience with assessing the current state environment and defining the desired future state
- Proficient with information gathering, conducting research, and detailed analysis.
- Strong analytical and writing skills.
- Ability to synthesize complex business and technical information into clear, actionable insights.
- Familiarity with IT concepts and system acquisition processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience supporting Veterans Affairs is a plus
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Visio preferred
- Location: Preferably based in Virginia or DC area, with one day per week in Rosslyn Office if local.
Salary Range: $95,000 - $115,000.00
