Position Summary
As a Quality Assurance Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, functionality, and usability of their software products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify issues, implement testing strategies, and contribute to the overall improvement of the firms product offerings. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for quality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.As a global law firm there may be a need for you to work flexible hours, outside of your core hours, in order to meet the business needs in different time zones.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the functionality, usability, and performance of our software applications.
- Conduct manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure product quality
- Identify, document, and track software defects, and work closely with developers and vendors to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Document test results and communicate findings to relevant teams
- Participate in projects, meetings and provide feedback as Test lead.
- Conduct regression testing to verify that software changes have not adversely affected existing functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into test cases.
- Participate in the design and implementation of test automation frameworks and tools.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in quality assurance and software testing.
- May volunteer or be selected to serve on special committees, work groups, project teams, or escalation teams related to various firm wide IT initiatives. Initiatives may be specific one-time events (e.g., research, testing, rollouts, upgrades, installations) or ongoing activities.

Requirements
Education: Bachelor's Degree in computer-related field. Additional training, education, and/or certification in relevant areas preferred. ITSQB or other relevant certfications are a plus.
Experience:
Required:
- 2-4 years of IT Quality Assurance testing experience.
- Ability to lead through entire software testing cycle.
- Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, and detail orientated. Effective communication and collaboration abilities
- Proven experience in software quality assurance, preferably in a fast-paced IT environment.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, TestComplete, or similar
- Able to effectively interact with individuals at all organizational levels.
- Law Firm experience a Plus.
Skills: Strong analytical and communication skills required. Possesses a solid understanding of firm goals and direction, and the ability to recognize and prioritize solutions that assist in meeting those goals. Computing in a Microsoft Windows environment, with strong proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite a (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project), Microsoft PowerBi, Microsoft SharePoint, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams is required.

- Must have strong leadership skills and ability to demonstrate calm during periods of high volume or unusual events.
- Must work in office as required.
Working Conditions: Remote work . Occasionally called upon to work hours in excess of your normal daily schedule. The details of your weekly schedule will be discussed further with your direct supervisor.
