Come create your career with Volt Volt is hiring a Customer Account Manager to join our client’s busy team in Simi Valley, CA.
Key Responsibilities:- Track and report on revenue and forecasts, interfacing with business development and major customer accounts.
- Present weekly revenue updates and biweekly customer status reports.
- Coordinate business planning and forecast inputs, including fiscal year updates and long-term plans.
- Serve as the main contact for customer forecast submissions and ensure compliance with agreements.
- Align order submissions with forecasts and collaborate with Operations on purchasing and production plans.
- Investigate forecast variances and communicate with customers about contributing factors.
- Adhere to pricing guidelines and initiate reviews before pricing arrangements expire.
- Ensure contract compliance regarding pricing, terms, and royalty reporting.
- Coordinate with internal and foreign teams as needed.
- Maintain customer account status and work with Finance on payment arrangements and shipment releases.
- Build strong, professional relationships with key customer stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address customer concerns promptly.
- Prepare reports on customer sales, pricing, and royalty history.
- Track key account metrics and assist with challenging customer requests.
- Handle special projects and escalations.
Qualifications:- BA/BS in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field, plus 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of customer management principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and listening skills.
- Strong presentation and communication abilities.
- High stress tolerance and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
Hours: Full Time Position (On-site) Yearly Salary: $70,000-$75,000 *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
