Production Planner (Supply Chain Analyst) in
Flemington, New Jersey, with a well-known industry leader. In this role you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
This is a first shift position. As a Production Planner (Supply Chain Analyst) you will: Estimated Duration up to 36-+months.- Working closely with the manufacturing team and value stream leadership to determine how best to resolve supply constraints to balance service, inventory, and cost to meet business targets
- Procure raw material and communicate to suppliers on future requirements to support production plan
- Knowing, understanding, and improving key metrics like Backorders, Lead Time Adherence, OTIF, Inventory, etc. These topics will require daily communications and participation in the Tier process.
- Actively manage working and non-working inventories in assigned businesses to maintain compliance and achieve inventory investment targets
- Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve service, inventory turns, and non-working inventory
The ideal candidate will have:- APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society) CPIM certification is preferred. If not complete at the time this position is assumed, the certification will become part of the employee professional development plan as agreed between management and the employee.
- Experience in Production Planning as well as SAP, Factory Planner, PMCS/IMES and Peoplesoft Software experience.
- Strong data mining, data analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and self-motivational skills
Education Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND two (2) years of combined experience in supply chain, planning, logistics, and/or manufacturing in a private, public, government or military environment OR
- High School Diploma/GED from AND six (6) years of combined experience in supply chain, planning, logistics, and/or manufacturing in a private, public, government or military environment
Pay Rate: $34.35 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
