Core Responsibilities
As a LEGO Concept Designer, you will:
- Transform Ideas: Use your design expertise to craft captivating proof-of-concept models that bring stories to life and set the stage for new LEGO adventures.
- Innovate: Develop visually stunning and functional concept models that push the boundaries of creativity and playability.
- Foster Imagination: Design prototypes that spark new narratives and inspire fellow LEGO Designers.
- Collaborate: Engage with nearly 600 creatives in a collaborative environment that thrives on innovation and continuous improvement.
- Embrace Fluidity: Hand over your designs to Model Designers who will further develop and refine your concepts.
- Drive Concepts: Collect and analyze insights to develop strong concepts and experiences based on well-researched data. Interpret briefs and deliver high-quality designs that enforce to the Design Lead's guidelines.

Do you have what it takes?
- Design Visionary: Background in product design, industrial design, architecture, or a related field with the ability to think in three dimensions and create compelling visual narratives.
- Prototype Master: Experience in crafting prototypes or proof-of-concept models with quick iteration skills.
- LEGO Enthusiast: Familiarity with the LEGO System in Play is a must.
- Passionate Creator: Love for LEGO bricks and a collaborative spirit that inspires and is inspired by our creative community.
- Adaptable Innovator: Flexibility to let go of your concepts and trust others to build upon them, embracing collaborative design.
- Problem Solver: Extensive understanding of trends and user interaction, capable of analyzing issues and generating inventive resolutions.
- Storytelling Potential: Ability to conceptualise play possibilities for the toys you design, ensuring they are both engaging and feasible.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to pitch concept ideas both verbally and visually, with proficiency in design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Rhino, etc.
