Job Title: Associate Attorney - Newly Barred

Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated and dedicated newly barred attorney to support our legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly barred attorney to gain hands-on experience in insurance defense and litigation work, while working closely with senior attorneys and mentors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and file legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and contracts.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and client advisories.
- Assist in client meetings and maintain client relationships.
- Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and trials.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal issues and provide legal advice.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in the law and legal trends within the specific practice area .
- Manage and track case files, ensuring all deadlines and court dates are met.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to the CA Bar, or pending admission.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality.
- Prior internship, clerkship, or externship experience in insurance defense is a plus, but not required.
